About "The Garden"
The Boston Garden was an arena built in 1928 and dismembered in 1998 after the completion of its new-and-improved replacement arena, the FleetCenter, now called TD Banknorth Garden. The original Garden was notorious for the parquet floors that Celtics played on. Some pieces were incorporated in the current building and others were sold as a piece of Boston history.
